my true calling in life is the simple life. i love the meditativeness, introspection and acceptance of self that i discovered while living there. i miss the ocean and the sound of the swaying palms... my sister, who's lived there for several years loves it for her sanity and soon she maybe getting married! it'll be like coming home and i can't think of a more romantic place than maui to celebrate life. just ordered my first fancy pattern from wwww.modeknit.com and will be doing my best on the knit-along of the silk ribbed lace corset. also, started a red halter for practice on altering a pattern. pretty excited as my LYS has drop spindles and i want to learn to spin. so much to do and so little time.
